Benefits of Sharing a Site
There are many benefits to sharing a site. Those benefits include accessing the site from a local application such as Word or Excel, access from online applications such as OneDrive, and to receive emails about events on that site.
You must already have been added to the site by a site owner.
- Log into https://www.office.com/.
- Click on SharePoint.
- You can use the search option at the top left to search for your team.
- Click on the site you would like to follow.
- To follow the site, click on the star on the top-right of the page.
If you do not find the site in SharePoint, you may need to be added to the site first. This can be done by any owner of the site. Owners are usually a department director or a staff of IT.***
